This is one of those books that I chose because the plot was too attractive to pass up. I'll be honest, I'm a huge fan of YA thrillers, so I enjoy them without much problem, this book was no exception.
What stands out the most in this story is the setting, the author does a great job creating this cold, oppressive and suffocating atmosphere. The characters feel quite melancholic and have troubled stories that accentuate this aspect of the plot.

However, although the setting is quite good, the story did not convince me, I enjoyed it, but I think that considering how attractive the plot is, the development was not so good and the mystery of the town was mostly forgotten. 

The characters are fine, but I would have liked a bit more variety, especially with respect to adults (since we are in a town with a small enrollment, it does not surprise me that there are few teenage characters interacting).

The story has a lot of action and I think it has a good rhythm, but it lacked development to make the plot feel more complete.

In any case, it was a reading that I enjoyed for the most part, although I would have liked him to exploit his approach more, it was a fairly entertaining book. I give it a 3.5 / 4.

Este es uno de esos libros que escogí porque el plot era demasiado atractivo para dejarlo pasar. Voy a ser sincera, soy muy fan de los thrillers juveniles, así que los disfruto sin mucho problema, este libro no fue la excepción.

Lo que más resalto de esta historia es la ambientación, la autora hace un gran trabajo creando esta atmósfera fría, opresiva y asfixiante. Los personajes se sienten bastante melancólicos y tienen historias problemáticas que acentúan este aspecto de a trama. 

Sin embargo, aunque la ambientación es bastante buena, la historia no terminó de convencerme, la disfruté, pero creo que teniendo en cuenta lo atractivo que es el plot, el desarrollo no fue tan bueno y el misterio del pueblo se quedó en su mayoría olvidado. 
Los personajes están bien, pero me hubiese gustado un poco más de variedad, sobre todo con respecto a los adultos (como estamos en un pueblo con una matrícula pequeña, no me sorprende que haya pocos personajes adolescentes interactuando). 

La historia tiene bastante acción y creo que lleva un buen ritmo, pero le faltó desarrollo para que la trama se sintiera más completa.

De todas formas fue una lectura que disfruté en su mayoría, aunque me hubiese gustado que explotara más su planteamiento, fue un libro bastante entretenido. Le doy un 3.5/4.
